    Sparkly!

Meetings:  Friday (2nd half) at lunch in 241, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday after school in 241

Who:  At Carnegie Vanguard High school our NFL/TFA Debate team affords you the opportunity to compete in various competitions and test your mettle, wit, intelligence, and creativity against the very best in the nation. Although Forensic Debate is an inherently competitive activity, it is also a place to improve your ability as a speaker and make new friends from all across Texas. With activities ranging from Debate to poetry, to humorous interpretation (a sort of stand up) Debate club is a place for all skill sets. The Carnegie NFL/TFA Debate team is one of the few Debate teams to be largely student run. The students organize the tournaments, chauffeurs, transportation, and fees as well as lead the meetings. We meet most Fridays at lunch in Miss Schulz' room (when we aren't busy at tournaments) and have voluntary meetings after school Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Miss Chen's room and love to see new members. Meetings will involve preparation for tournaments and tutelage for those that need it.

    Hope to see you there.
