     Ms. Rahman, origionally from Karachi, Pakistan, now calls Houston home. She completed her Bachelors of Science at Columbia University in Biomedical Engineering, and advanced courses in Biochemistry from University of Houston. She is certified to teach science courses but teaching physics is her true passion. Prior to her appointment at LHS, she worked with students on various high-school level math and science courses.   She was also involved in genetics research at Neurological Research Institute, an affliate of Baylor College of Medicine, where she tested over 200 mice models in learning and memory. experiments She also taught GED and ESL classes at Alliance at Multicultural Community Services and YMCA International.
    Her hobbies include running half marathons, travelling and practicing Spanish.
