Ms. Puente grew up in the northside part of Houston, Texas. She attended HISD schools and earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown.  Ms Puente then went on to earn a Masters of Education Administration from Sam Houston State University.  Ms. Puente's family includes her husband, a son and a daughter. She is proud to make this her third year at Lee High School.
