    AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

    Admissions:

    After School care is available to students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade only. A registration form must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian to enroll in the program. The form must be returned by, Friday, August 30th, 2019 to the office. The program will be from 2:50 pm – 5:30 pm daily. The program will begin Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019.

    Payments:

    The fee for the After-School Program is $75.00 per child, per month. Every additional child will be discounted $10. For EX: first-child $75.00, second child $65.00, third child $55.00, etc.  Payments must be made by the first week of each month.  All payments are to be made on School Pay.  If you have any questions on how to use School Pay, please call the school for assistance.  A late fee of $5.00 will be added to the payment after the first week.  Students will be removed from the program if payments are not made within 10 days.

    Attendance:

    Students should attend after school daily. There are no refunds for missed days. Students should be picked up by 5:30 pm.  Students can be picked up before 5:30 pm with no penalty, however, if students are picked up after 5:30pm there will be a charge of $2.00 per 10 minutes. If students are picked up after 6:00pm there will be a $2.00 per minute charge. If a late fee is not paid in 5 days, Students will be removed from the program until paid.

    Discipline Policy:

    Students will follow the same rules and regulations that are outlined in the Field Parent/Student Handbook.  

    We Expect Students To:

    1. Follow instructions.
    2. Respect others by keeping their hands and feet to themselves
    3. Respect the property of others.
    4. Abstain from fighting or name-calling.

    Please review the expectation with your child. There will be a three-strikes system put into place for violations. Notice to parents will be given for each strike. At the time of the third strike your child will be removed from the program. Students will be removed immediately for fighting.

    We Expect Parents Too:

    1. Pick up your child no later than 5:30 pm.
    2. Sign them out daily.
    3. Provide a name and working phone number for everyone allowed to pick up your child.

    Parents will also be held to the three-strikes system

     

    Important Dates:

    There will be no After School Program on early dismissal days. September 27th (9/27/19), October 18th (10/18/19), November 8th (11/08/19), December 20th (12/20/19), January 17th (01/17/20), & February 14th (02/14/20)

    There will be NO Afterschool Program on October 25th (10/25/19).

    The last day of After School will be on May 22nd.

     

    Medication:

    A parent or guardian will be called to pick up a child who is sick or injured. Medicine will not be administered.
