Fondren students in the after-school program participate in a wide variety of enrichment activities, including cooking, dancing, gardening, photography, woodshop, sign language, and robotics.

 

ASAP offers expanded learning opportunities that support developmentally age-appropriate cognitive, social, physical, and emotional outcomes. In addition, ASAP offers a balanced program of academic support, arts and cultural enrichment, recreation, and nutrition. 

 

The Afterschool Achievement Program (ASAP) is funded by the City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department. ASAP at Fondren partners with After School to Achieve (ASTA) to help students achieve their dreams by providing educational classes that are not taught on an everyday basis.
