    Howdy!!!
     
    My name is Ms. Herrera and I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher. We will have such a great year together and I wanted to start off by letting you know a little about me.
     
    I am a graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown, where I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (EC-6). I have been teaching at Raul C. Martinez since I received my bachelor's degree.
     
    First grade is such a special year, and I feel so blessed to be a part of it. My main goals are for students to feel successful and to LOVE learning!
