Priscilla Rivas is a native Houstonian born to Colombian parents. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas. She has been in the Houston Independent School district for the past 11 years. She has taught grades Kinder bilingual, 2nd grade dual language, and 4th grade bilingual transitional. She has been at Browning for the past 3 years and has loved working with the students, staff, and families! In her ‘spare’ time, Priscilla directs and performs in the Colombian Folkloric Ballet.

Ms. Rivas is Browning's Dual Language Coordinator, Gifted and talented Coordinator, Literacy Coach, Odyssey of the mind director and coach, discipline, co-coordinator of Family Nights, IFEst Coordinator, Author of the weekly newsletter, and web master.
