    Library Services

    • The mission of the HISD Department of Library Services is to provide integrated services enabling schools to enhance the quality of instruction and instructional delivery to improve student achievement and information literacy. It is our goal to ensure that all HISD students are prepared to be good digital citizens. For more information, please see Library Services.
    The library is composed of many variety of books of different genres.  The library has digital resources available to all students composed of a multitude of educational resources that caters to the students based on their needs. Last but not least, the library is a place where imagination takes place...Here they are writers, authors, actors, scholars, and most importantly...family.
