The Buddy System is Carnegie's new program that pairs incoming freshmen with upperclassmen volunteers who will serve as guides and points-of-contact for the first year of high school.
For freshmen, this is an opportunity to get an inside look at Carnegie before arriving in fall, as well as making a new friend and having a place to go for questions and help with all the new places, faces, schedules, and requirements that go with a new school.
For the upperclassmen who volunteer, this is a chance to help new students find a home here at Carnegie by showing them the ropes, giving them the benefit of all the things you have learned, and helping build a stronger Carnegie community.
Check this page for updates about the program throughout the summer.
