Camp Med June 5 - 17
Camp Med is a bridge camp for students who will be attending BCMAR. At Camp Med, students explore exciting topics in health and medicine through engaging BCM STEM activities and Writers in the Schools writing activities, make new friends, get introduced to organizational skills and get to know the Baylor College of Medicine Academy at James D. Ryan (BCMAR) teachers and expectations.
All students entering BCMAR are required to attend this valuable and free of charge bridge camp upon entry to BCMA at Ryan as long as they are able to secure transportation. No transportation or after camp child care is provided. Summer school appropriate dress and close toed shoes are required. Scholar coats are encouraged and can be purchased below.
Students participate in all three exciting and engaging classes below during Camp Med. Additional camp med details and registration follow the course descriptions.
Breakfast before camp and lunch during camp is provided, free of charge. Drop off begins at 7:30 a.m. and pick up is at 12:30 p.m., promptly. Camp Med occurs from 8:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. There is no aftercare.
