    There are many more options for our eighth graders.  Math and science classes are often physically located in other places in the building.  We are providing links for all of the possibilities for our students:

     

    U.S. History for 8C

    All students in Cluster 8C have Mrs. Linsley for United States history.

    English / Language Arts for 8C

    All students in Cluster 8C have Mrs. Woodard for English.

    Mrs. Woodard utilizes Google Classroom.  Each student has a logon for the HISD Portal at Google Classroom for HISD  When he/she signs in, an icon will appear for each class that is managed on Google.  Parents may acquire the logon user name and password from the student.

     

    Science

    Students in 8C have different teachers for science, depending upon the course they are taking.

    Dr. Hamilton's students may view the class website.  A user name and password is required for access, since copyrighted information is frequently posted.  Please ask your student for the logon.  It is given at the bottom of the table of contents in his/her math composition book.

    *Receiving my class syllabus

    *Thoroughly venturing through the procedures, rules, and regulations of C128.

    * Introducing Google Classroom (Where the majority of the "Magic" happens)

    *Setting up your writing/reading notebooks

    * Learing about the power of Reading

    * Delving deeper into your personal anecdotes. 

    *Selecting your first Independent Reading Novel
