    There are many more options for our eighth graders.  Math and science classes are often physically located in other places in the building.  We are providing links for all of the possibilities for our students:

     

    U.S. History for 8C

    All students in Cluster 8C have Mrs. Linsley for United States history.

    Mrs. Woodard utilizes Google Classroom.  Each student has a logon for the HISD Portal at Google Classroom for HISD  When he/she signs in, an icon will appear for each class that is managed on Google.  Parents may acquire the logon user name and password from the student.

     

    Science

    Students in 8C have different teachers for science, depending upon the course they are taking.

    Dr. Hamilton's students may view the class website.  A user name and password is required for access, since copyrighted information is frequently posted.  Please ask your student for the logon.  It is given at the bottom of the table of contents in his/her math composition book.

    * Mini test- ACT 3

    *Literary analysis planning with partner

    Note:

    *All hard copies of Act 1 Newspaper articles should have been submitted in the correct  class period container.  

    Due Dates: Blue Day- 2-1-2019

                      Green Day- 2-5

    Final submission Date: 2/8/2019

    *Literary Analysis planning packet

            Due Date 2-8-2019 ALL Classes 

    * Literary Analysis final copies should be submitted through Google Classroom. Only one submission is needed per group. 

    Due Date All Classes 2-12

    All students are to be conscientious of due dates and deadlines of ALL assignments. Please check your planner(agenda) daily.

    This cycle students will be engaged in Literary analysis. 

    Our literature for this cycle is "12 Angry Men" A stage play written by Reginald Rose.

    Students will also learn the structure of a Literary analysis paper.

    ***Note:
