• Amy Vera graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2007. At Del Mar College, she was a member of Phi Sigma, a local professional music sorority and a sister of Phi Mu Alpha Music Fraternity. During her time there, she served as Secretary and then Probation Officer. She continued her music career at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. 

    She has played violin since middle school and perfromed with the Universtiy Symphony Orchestra at TAMU-CC. She is also curerently playing violin in a local professional mariachi and has played maricahi for about 10 years. Currently, she is the Assistant Band Director here at Milby and also directs orchestra and guitar.

    Ms. Vera has 2 children, Talea and Aurora, and enjoys sharing her music with others as well as teaching it.
