Foster Grandparent Program (FGP)

The Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) was founded through the Jewish Community Center of Houston. It offers older adults age 55 and older opportunities to serve as mentors, tutors and caregivers for children and youth with special and exceptional needs. The FGP is designed to help establish a positive and productive environment for our schools and communities. The FGP provides tutoring, mentoring, enrichment, and other supportive services. Volunteers share their love and wisdom with children and youth at McNamara elementary.
