• Kappa League, formally known as the Kappa Instructional Leadership League, is the national youth initiative of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. Kappa League focuses on training young men 6th-12th grade for leadership, achievement and service in every field of human endeavor. Strong emphasis is placed upon personal development, academic achievement and college and career preparation.

     

    Worthing High School Kappa League chapter under (Houston Kappa League Chapter) focus on: personal development, college preparation, community service, college field trips, career based field trips, youth leadership activities and mentoring. Worthing H.S participants have traveled as far as Washington, D.C. on college tours within the last two school years. 

     

    Young men in grades 9-12 are welcome to join the organization. Students interested in expanding their leadership capacity are encouraged to join. 

    WHS will meet twice a month after a school from 4pm -5:30pm on Tuesday’s and will meet with all Houston Citywide Kappa Leaguers at 3349 Southmore Blvd every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 1pm-4pm.
