This year will be my 11th year in public education. I was born and raised in Illinois and completed my undergrad at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I earned a bachelor of science in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education. I have also taken a few courses towards my Masters in Teaching.  I have lived in the Houston area for 10 years now, working in HISD. This is my 4th year at EECHS and I am very excited to continue my journey with the Falcon family! I love teaching math and finding new ways to engage my students. It is important to me to always evolve my practice as a teacher and to make math accessible and meaningful to every student. I look forward to this year and will strive to do my best to serve my students.
