Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Bill (Nagy)

This year will be my 8th year in public education. I was born and raised in Illinois and completed my undergrad at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I earned a bachelor of science in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education. I have lived in the Houston area for 6 years now, working in HISD. This will be my first year at EECHS and I am very excited to be a part of the falcon family! I love teaching math and finding new ways to engage my students. It is important to me to always evolve my practice as a teacher and to make math accessible and meaningful to every student. I look forward to this year and will strive to do my best to serve my students and navigate online learning.

  • Course Overviews:

Algebra 1 and Strategic Learning -  Each student enrolled in Algebra 1 will also be enrolled in a Strategic Learning class. These classes are combined to give students ample opportunity to practice and master the skills needed to be successful in Algebra 1. This is an EOC tested course, meaning students will take the Algebra 1 STAAR in May, which is required for graduation.

College Transitions - Every 9th grade student at EECHS will be enrolled in a College Transitions course. This course is intended to equip students with the skills necessary to prepare them to be successful in their college courses.
