Ms. Hendricks graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University with a double major in English and Religion and a minor in Women’s Studies. She earned her M.A. in the Teaching of English from Teachers College, Columbia University (NYC). She has been an educator for fifteen years and has taught Advanced Placement and Literature, International Baccalaureate, and Pre-AP / GT courses at the high school level. Additionally, she has taught AP / Dual credit English Literature courses in conjunction with South Texas College and served as a National College Board Reader for the AP English Literature and Composition Exam for nine years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yoga, and studying Spanish. She is excited about the partnership with students and family that will make this year successful! Go Eagles!

For the 2020-2021 academic year, Ms. Hendricks teaches English II Pre-AP and AP Language and Composition.
