I am a Dallasite born and raised. Go Cowboys! I went to one of the best magnet schools in Texas, Dallas Skyline High School. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007. I decided two semesters before graduating that I wanted to be a teacher and changed my major from Biology to Education.

I have eight years of teaching experience. I have taught 7^th grade math for four years and 6th -7^th grade science for four years. My hobbies include running, hiking, traveling and my new found favorite glamping (glamorous camping).

I am looking forward to an amazing year with my 8^th grade science students. I can’t wait for us to learn and explore new things together!
