    Assistant Principal

    Dana Hill Marchand was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, but has lived in the Houston area for the last 16 years. Dana is a proud graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana. At Xavier, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, with a minor in History. Mrs. Marchand furthered her education by earning a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Letourneau University.  Dana began her educational career with Houston Independent School District (HISD) in 2007. Previously within HISD, Mrs. Marchand served as an elementary teacher and an Educational Diagnostician. Presently, she serves as one of the 12th Grade Assistant Principals and leads the Social Studies Department.  Mrs. Marchand loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. Her and her husband, Charles Marchand, have one son, Kenneth, and a dog named Champ.
