Club Objectives 

The Club will cultivate a familiarity with the field of forensic science, a critical component of the criminal justice system. The Club’s mission is to provide members who enjoy solving puzzles and mysteries exposure to how forensic scientists assist law enforcement by collecting evidence and performing microscopic, chemical, and biological analyses to develop objective evidence to prosecute criminals or absolve those who are innocent.

What Will we do?

Members will tour local forensic science labs to develop a better understanding of the technical procedures and complex instruments used to examine and analyze forensic evidence from crime scenes. Host guest speakers experienced in the profession will address the different disciplines that make up a forensic science lab. Members will also be familiarized with college courses and possible careers in the field.
