Mr. Acosta was born and raised in McAllen Tx. Finished High School in the valley and went on to play division 1 basketball at The University of Texas Pan American before continuing his education at the University of Houston main campus where he graduated with a bachelors in broadcast journalism and a minor kinesiology.

Mr. Acosta started working for PSJA North Early College High School in PHARR TX for 3 years as a Coach and ISS Teacher before making his way to HISD, He is now the new Wraparound Specialist Providing many resources at NHECHS GO REDHAWKS!
