Greetings Scholars! This is my 15^th year at Yates High School and 42^nd year in education.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and English from Prairie View A&M University.  I do have a M. Ed. in Guidance Counseling from Prairie View A&M University as well.  I am a certified Mentor via North Forest Independent School District. I am working toward my doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on minority children in the Urban area.  This year, I am instructor for 12^th grade English.
