English III Teacher; Certified

Ariana Rittenhouse is a 1st year teacher at Jack Yates High School. 

Before serving at Yates, she taught at Aldine ISD as an English II educator for 4 years. 

Ms.Rittenhouse maintains high standards in the classroom; with record STAAR test scores, modeled work ethic and readiness, student accountability, classroom management and structure, rigorous lessons, innovative activities, student engagement, socio-emotional learning skills and exemplary student work showcased throughout the school year. 

She is excited about making the historical Jack Yates High School her new home in academia. As a proud Houston native, Ms.Rittenhouse is familiar with the famous Houston landmark and plans to further assist in producing the city's best leaders of tommorrow. 

Rittenhouse holds a B.A. in Fine Art and Communications from the University of Texas at Austin. 

Rittenhouse is also continuing her education in pursuit of her M.Ed in Education at Houston Christian University.
