Gymnastics

DeBakey High School is the only HISD high school to have gymnastics as an elective class for students who are interested in learning more about the sport. The DeBakey team also competes in the Texas High School Gymnastics Association. High schools in our region are Alvin, Beaumont Central, Westbrook, Kingwood, Atascosita, Rudders, Ozen, Round Rock and A&M Consolidated. DHSHP gymnasts compete in district and regional competitions. The team is coached by Keith Peters who has coached the DeBakey Vipers Gymnastics Team for the past 15 years.
