The Benefits Department administers HISD’s comprehensive employee benefit programs, with a focus on supporting the physical, mental, and financial well-being of our employees and their families. The department also provides support in key areas such as Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment Compensation, 403(b) and 457 retirement plans, and TRS retirement counseling.
