Thousands of high school seniors from across the Houston Independent School District soon will receive their diplomas at graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2018.

The district’s first graduation ceremony will be held Saturday, May 26 for the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts at 7 p.m. at The Hobby Center (800 Bagby St., 77002). Additional graduation ceremonies will take place around the city between Thursday, May 31 and Sunday, June 10 at various locations: Barnett Fieldhouse, Butler Fieldhouse, Delmar Fieldhouse, NRG Arena, NRG Stadium, Texas Southern University, and Wilkins Pavilion.
