By the year 2030, HISD will implement wholescale systemic reform to significantly narrow achievement gaps and prepare all students for a Year 2035 workplace and world.
Our Mission
HISD strives to provide every student with a high-quality education that meets their needs and prepares them for life beyond the classroom. We do this by investing in strong instruction, supporting great teachers, developing school leaders, and creating a culture of high expectations and accountability.
