TEKS & Standards

The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) are the state standards for what students should know and be able to do in each subject and grade level. By aligning all lessons to the TEKS, we ensure that students learn the right skills at the right time, teachers have confidence their instruction is on track, and parents can trust that classroom learning connects to the bigger plan for student success.

The English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) are guidelines to help English learners develop proficiency in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing while also learning academic content.
