UIL Theatre

UIL Theatre in HISD provides students the opportunity to showcase their creativity and performance skills through engaging, team-based competitions. The centerpiece of the program is the One Act Play, offered for both middle school (in the fall) and high school (in the spring). In addition, high school students may participate in Theatrical Design, with a pilot program also available at the middle school level. Together, these contests encourage collaboration, artistic expression, and a deeper appreciation of theatre.
