ENROLLMENT & THE ANNUAL STUDENT UPDATE FOR 2026–2027

IS NOW OPEN!

Complete your child's enrollment early to secure their seat for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. The first day of school is Monday, August 10th.  Online Enrollment will be available for all Houston families through the summer and into the school year. Priority enrollment deadline for the Annual Student Update is June 4th.

New to HISD? If your child has never been enrolled in an HISD school, complete the Online Enrollment (new student pathway) to get started. 

Continuing with HISD? If your child is currently enrolled, complete the Annual Student Update (current student pathway) each year to confirm your child's information and secure their seat.
