The IB Diploma Programme is designed as an academically challenging and balanced program of education with research projects, portfolios, service expectations, and final assessments that prepares students in grades 11 and 12 for success at university and life beyond. The programme is taught over two years and has gained recognition and respect from the world's leading universities.
Students have two options:- Diploma Candidate - Students study six courses at higher level (HL) and standard level (SL), and complete the core requirements that include the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity Activity and Service (CAS).
- Diploma Course Student - Students are able to take as many (or as few) Diploma courses, as they choose, and do not need to complete the core requirements [i.e., Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity Activity and Service (CAS)].
- Diploma Candidate - Students study six courses at higher level (HL) and standard level (SL), and complete the core requirements that include the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity Activity and Service (CAS).
