Callum Gillespie has achieved the highest rank in Boy Scouts on May 7th. In 2018, only 6.5% of scouts achieved this rank nationwide. To achieve this rank, Callum had completed 27 merit badges, community volunteer services over 3 years, 18 months leadership positions, and various awards including 4 STEM BSA programs. Additionally, his eagle scout project which brought 20 volunteers together (120 service hours) for Project Linus Houston Chapter made 70 blankets for children in need. Last year, Project Linus Houston Chapter distributed over 5,000 blankets to hospitals, funeral homes, homeless shelters, and Harvey victims from Houston to Galveston. We are Lamar proud of Callum Gillespie!
