 Dulce Mancillas
 Ms. Dulce Mancillas 

Ms. Mancillas graduated from UH-Downtown with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has been part of the Burbank family since 2008 and Mathematics is one of her favorite subjects to teach. She is the Math Grade Level Lead Teacher for Seventh grade.

Among her many activities, she is the National Junior Honor Society advisor, organizing the Teacher Advisory Committee and the Induction Ceremony for our members. She  advises the members in the selection of the chapter activitites for the year. Ms. Mancillas also organizes the Cinco de Mayo Choir that performs during our annual Cinco de Mayo celebration.  

Ms. Mancillas has been honored as the Bilingual Teacher of the Year twice, in 2015-2016 and again in 2017-2018. This year she was a finalist in the 2018-2019 District Teacher of the Year selection. We are very proud of the work that Ms. Mancillas does for our school and all that she has accomplished through her hard work and dedication. Congratulations!
