What happens if I terminate SSLB membership?

SSLB leave days are not credited back to employees. Leave days contributed to the SSLB remain the property of the program and remain in the program.  

Additionally, participants are not paid for unused SSLB days granted as a benefit. If an employee is approved for a specific number of days but returns to work or leaves the district before their claim period ends, unused SSLB days will be removed from the member's balance and will not be paid to the employee.
