Is there a deadline to submit benefit claims?
Yes. Benefit claim forms must be submitted within 30 days from the beginning of your unpaid leave. All claims must be filed within the same Supplemental Sick Leave Bank (SSLB) plan year, which runs September 1 through August 31. Failure to submit timely claims may result in denied claims and unpaid benefits from the program.
