Title 1 Parent Engagement Survey

Good afternoon,

The 2021–2022 Title I, Part A Parent and Family Engagement Survey will be open from Monday April 25, 2022, through Friday May 27, 2022. The purpose of this survey is to obtain parents’, guardians’, and adult family members’ perceptions about how well schools are involving them in the educational activities related to their children.  To complete this effort, we need your assistance to notify parents and guardians about the survey. According to P.L. 114-95, Section 1116(a)(2)(D), school districts are required to conduct an annual survey to evaluate parent and family engagement efforts related to Title I funding.

The Research and Accountability Department provided the number of responses to the Title I  2021-2022 Parent and Family Engagement Survey as of May 10, 2022.  Unfortunately, the participation rate is very low.  As of today, we have received 2,078 responses (1,371 from the English version, 706 from the Spanish version, and 1 from the Vietnamese version).

The Department of External Funding is requesting all Title I campuses to promote participation in the 2021 – 2022 Title I Parent and Family Engagement Survey through various methods of communication with families.  Promotion methods include, but are not limited to, parent/teacher meetings, end of year graduations/activities, virtual trainings, ClassDojo, PTA/PTO meetings, Morning Message, Weekly Wrap,  other weekly campus communications, newsletters, or updates. If you have a more efficient way of completing this task, please do so.
