Mandarin Immersion Magnet School was just ranked as one of  Public School Review's 'Most Diverse Schools in the U.S.'  Data was collected from school districts across the U.S. and assembled into an ultimate list to highlight the most diverse schools within each state. The diversity ranking is calculated by the chance that two students selected at random would be members of a different ethnic group.  Scored from 0 to 1, a diversity score closer to1 indicates a more diverse student body. US public schools have an average diversity score of 0.30. MIMS earned a diversity ranking score of 0.78.
