Parents on patrol is a voluntary program similar to a neighborhood watch program, except that the neighborhood is your community school! Having a visible adult presence on campus helps to create a safe and positive culture on campus. Parents collaborate with the school to improve safety and security on the campus. There is no required number of hours – you can help when you have time.

First, you will have to register through the Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program at this link: Community Partnerships / Volunteer with HISD - VIPS Home (houstonisd.org) or contact our VIPS liaison Ms. Guidry at gguidry@houstonisd.org with any questions about VIPS registration.
