The UTFA Student Advisory Council and Faculty will present their annual UTFA Outstanding Educator Award to Chad Peters! Chadwick Peters is a distinguished graduate and alumni of HSPVA and Southern Methodist University. He has won the National Society of Arts and Letters Modern Dance Career Award, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center Scholarship Award, HSPVA Distinguished Guest Artist Award, and was a member of the prestigious Ailey II in NYC. He has appeared in commercials television and award shows and the film “Ailey at 50: a Celebration”. Mr. Peters, is an acclaimed guest teacher and choreographer for various schools, studios, and productions throughout the Houston area and beyond and is currently the Director of Dance and Fine Arts Chair at Meyerland Performing and Visual Arts Middle School in Houston ISD.
