Sandy Hook Promise

Heights High School and Houston ISD are working with Sandy Hook Promise to implement the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS). According to Sandy Hook Promise, the system helps prevent violence before it happens through education for adults and youth on “how to recognize warning signs and signals of individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others” and a 24-hour hotline for submission of safety concerns. This will allow us to help provide at-risk individuals with the help they need. To use SS-ARS, students and staff were trained on March 29, 2019.
