CVHS junior Anna Oliva competed at the 2024 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles. Finalists from science fairs in over 60 countries presented their work in the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition.
Anna won the first place grand award in mathematics, along with a special award from the American Mathematical Society, a special award from UT Dallas, and an all-expense paid trip to Sweden to participate in Nobel Prize festivities and the Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar this December!
Over the course of the week, students interviewed with professionals from academia and industry, attended science seminars and wound down with Caltech-sponsored festivities and a free trip to Universal Studios LA.
