For our ‘Teacher Profile’ we will be talking about.. buh-bum-buh-dum.. Mr. Dinh! Mr Dinh is one of our amazing teachers here at our school, so we decided to interview him! We had him answer a few questions that we think would help us learn some more about him.

What’s something interesting about you?

“I am an identical twin!” he replied.

Did you always want to be a teacher?

“Ever since my senior year of highschool, yes. Not always. Throughout elementary, middle school, most of high school, I had no idea of what I wanted to be.”

What would be a quote or something you would say about Longfellow?

“We are a unique family of individuals.”

Are you from the Houston area or Texas?

“I am from the Houston Area.”

Why did you choose Longfellow?

“Because I wanted to teach in a new and different setting with different people and different students.”

What was your favorite subject in school? You guessed it.

“Does music count?”

What made you want to be a choir teacher?

His reply was: “My high school choir director inspired me to pursue music and become a choir director. So, here I am a choir director.”

What is your favorite song and why?

“Gravity, by Sara Bareilles, because it reminds me of someone.”

What college did you graduate from?

He graduated from the University of North Texas!
