Many of you enjoy the ease and convenience of medical care through the HISD Health and Wellness Centers at Attucks Middle School and Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center, as well as the Next Level Urgent Care Centers (NLUCCs) contracted through HISD.

Additionally, HISD medical plan members have access to 16 local NLUCCs through our after-hours urgent care service for a flat fee of $20 per visit or $0 for Select Plan members.

Starting April 1, 2024, HISD medical plan members (employees and their covered dependents) will have expanded access to all NLUCCs statewide in addition to care at our two onsite clinics.

The NLUCC-owned clinics operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week for urgent care needs. The NLUCC after-hours service fee remains a flat $20 per visit ($0 for Select Plan members). To access this care, HISD medical plan members can call 281-783-8162; get in line online at nextlevelurgentcare.com; or download the Next Level app and press “Get in Line”.  Specific same-day appointment times can also be made at many clinics.

Medical plan members may continue to visit any of the two HISD Health and Wellness Centers for urgent care and interim primary care needs for a $0 member responsibility. Benefits-eligible employees not enrolled in the HISD medical plan may utilize the two HISD Health and Wellness Centers for a fee of $65 per visit, plus applicable lab charges.

• On the Next Level Client Login page, log in using:

  • Username: HISD

  • Password: Nextlevel

You will be brought to a page where you can select either the HMW clinic or the Attucks MS clinic. After you select the clinic, you have two choices: “Request Same-Day Sick Visit” or make an appointment with one of the clinicians. Check both clinics to determine if same-day appointments are available. Be sure to use your name as it appears on your HISD ID card and your correct date of birth.

Please note that both onsite Health and Wellness Centers will remain open during the lunch hour. The hours of operation are:
