has dedicated her career to helping students succeed in many capacities with a goal to develop students’ academic and professional trajectories. Before transitioning to ROSES, she was a Family and Community Engagement Specialist at Houston ISD, working with parents in preparing their children to succeed in college, career, and beyond. After being a first-generation college graduate, she believes that building intentional partnerships with families and communities while teaching and building relationships will help advance student achievement, especially in the underserviced communities. Claribel is an active member of Latinas Achieve at the University of Houston-Downtown, a mentorship program for Latina Students specifically designed to empower them in their academic and professional success. She is also an Emerging Leader from the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Claribel is a Native Houstonian and alumn from The University of Houston-Downtown with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Sciences and Disorders from the University of Houston.
