Compliance

One initiative is to support the Multilingual Compliance Division to ensure that schools are following state law. Texas law requires that bilingual education programs be offered to students who are limited English proficient and establishes the functions of the LPAC. The team also supports schools in the implementation of the TEKS/ELPS, which are also part of state law.
