Step Up To Serve Campaign

Did you know that in Texas, high school students aged 16 years and older can get paid to work the polls on Election Day? The Harris County Clerk's Office is kicking off the "Step up to Serve" campaign to encourage civic participation and gives students an inside look at the elections process.

We would like to invite our students to apply to work in the upcoming November 5, 2019, Joint General and Special Elections. New this year, students will have the opportunity to work as an Electronics Support Specialist, responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the elections equipment.
