There were testing irregularities with PSAT administration to 10^th and 11^th grade students on Wednesday, October 11^th. As we are learning more about what happened, we are finding that several centrally located platform system upload errors impacted many 10^th and 11th-grade students’ ability to take the PSAT on Wednesday, including student first names being incorrect on the tickets or even no tickets generated for some students at all. As a result, a make-up date will be offered on Tuesday, October 24^th to those 10^th and 11^th grade students who would like to take the PSAT.

The decision to retake the PSAT for 10^th and 11th-grade students will be a family decision. Please speak with your child about this option. If a student wants to retake the PSAT, Mr. Niggli sent a link via School Messenger to register for the retake to parent email addresses.

If you do NOT want your child to take the make-up PSAT, then you do not need to do anything.

Bellaire HS Testing Coordinator Gregory Mills has a list of the students who did not have a ticket generated and who had an incorrect first name so that they will be automatically enrolled for the make-up PSAT.

To submit names for make-up testing and plan accordingly, the survey will close at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17th. So, if you want to take the make-up PSAT, please complete the survey before 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 17th.
