REMOTE LEARNING SYSTEMS FOR STUDENTS

We are using MS Teams to connect with our students and hold daily online meetings. The primary purpose of these meetings is to communicate with students, such as:

  • Checking on students to make sure they are safe
  • Determining if the family has needs that we may be able to help support.
  • Ensuring that students have access to lessons and online learning tools.
  • Teaching lessons, explaining content, assigning lessons, checking student progress.

During the Teams meetings, teachers will specify with students how they will access lesson assignments and turn in their work. Teachers are using a variety of platforms. Some of the platforms include MS Teams, Google Classroom, Remind, padlet, and nearpod. Teachers will guide students in using these platforms during their daily meetings on MS Teams and will ensure students are able to turn in their assignments.
