Science Week of April 20th-26th

Hello 7C Charger Family!

It seems like most everyone is finding a routine that works for them as we continue to learn remotely. If you would like some suggestions for how to tackle your workload, please let me know. I encourage you to read the comments I am leaving when I return assignments. We love to hear from you in any way, so keep connecting with us in TEAMS Meetings, through email, or on Google Classroom. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU, so please do not feel like you are bothering us. While we hold "Office Hours" Monday-Friday from 1:00pm-3:00pm via our TEAMS Meetings, you can contact us at anytime and we will get back to you as soon as we can, and no later than 24 hours.

Our lesson this week will focus on Ecological Succession. You learned last week about various types of extreme weather that can affect an ecosystem. Now we are going to see how that ecosystem recovers.

I am posting a video on Google Classroom that will explain the lesson in more detail. You are going to be reading through a passage we provide, then watching a couple of videos. You will be completing a Venn diagram to organize your thoughts on the differences between Primary and Secondary Ecological Succession. For your GRADED ASSIGNMENT this week, you will be creating a FlipGrid video explaining what you have learned. A rubric is provided on Google Classroom. I am SO excited to see you all on video...I have REALLY missed you!

We can't change our current situation, but we can try to choose how to adjust to it! Let's try to find at least one bright spot in each day!
