8th graders bid farewell to middle school

Our 8th graders celebrated promoting to high school at an
in-person ceremony on May 26. 

We are proud of the Class of 2025 and look forward to these young women thriving in high school!

Students had the opportunity to hear words of encouragement and affirmation from this year's promotion keynote speaker, N. Lucy Chukwuhrah.

N.Lucy Chukwurah began her legal career with a Fortune 10 corporation working on labor and employment class actions. She has worked in private practice, corporate legal departments, small boutique firms and is now the principal at the Firm, NLC Law Group, where she represents and assists individuals, businesses, and legal professionals. Her practice includes, and she has experience in, the following: labor and employment law, business and commercial law, family law, personal injury, premises li ability, administrative hearings and many other areas.

Attorney Chukwurah is based in Houston, Texas. She has been in practice for over 17 years and received her JD,  cum laude, from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2004. She received her BS in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of Oklahoma in 2000. 

Ms. Chukwurah is licensed in all courts of the State of Texas. She is federally licensed before the Southern District of Texas and the Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc. She is an enthusiastic college football fan, BOOMER! SOONER!
