Hogg Middle School joined the ranks of 12 other HISD campuses with active chapters of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) on April 3, when teachers and administrators there inducted the school's first class of members into that distinguished organization.

"Entrance into the National Junior Honor Society is an honor and privilege," said Hogg Principal Mina Schnitta. “The 23 students who were inducted represent what hard work, dedication, and service can do for the betterment of the school and community.”

Other HISD middle schools with active NJHS chapters are: Black, Burbank, Clifton, Edison, Grady, Johnston, Marshall, and Revere, as well as Mt. Carmel Academy, The Pilgrim Academy, The Rice School, T.H. Rogers, and the Texas Connections Academy.
